Droplet & Particle Generation using Microfluidics and its Applications
Microfluidic technology enables the production of monodisperse particles, droplets, bubbles, foams and emulsions with precise control of ingredients and sizes. This free workshop will focus on controllable and reproducible production of monodisperse micro & nano particles for the encapsulation and delivery of drugs, API and biological materials. We will demonstrate how we can produce these particles, achieve efficient loading and easily control particle sizes and shapes via microfluidic continuous flow.
About the speaker
Dr. Chinh Nguyen-Huy is a Technical Application Specialist at Dolomite. Prior to this position, he was a Post-Doctoral fellow at the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in South Korea, where he worked on the development of nano-catalysts and mesoporous materials for bio-mass processing, and then he joined to Syrris Ltd as a Flow Chemistry Specialist. Chinh finished his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Ulsan, South Korea in 2015. His focus was developing nano-catalysts and nanomaterials for biomass conversion and advanced photo-oxidation process. Today, Chinh advises Dolomite’s customers in the Asia Pacific region on applications related to Microfluidics and Nanoparticles Formation.
